This Hypnotherapy and NLP course with Matthew Ferguson is an Integrated course in all the 3 skills of Hypnotherpy, NLP and NLP Coaching. You will not find this combination anywhere else.
The idea at the heart of this course is that to be a fully competent NLP Practitioner/Master Practitioner, Hypnotherapist and NLP Coach you need to understand the core of all three skills. That is why we have developed a course which blends hypnotherapy and nlp in one whilst still allowing each subject to stand alone in its concept and delivery.
At the centre of modern (non-script driven) hypnotherapy is the work of hypnotherapist and psychiatrist Dr. Milton H. Erickson. At the core of Neuro-linguistic-programming is his work together with the work of other effective models of therapy. NLP Coaching is primarily derived from NLP & other areas of positive psychology.
It is therefore essential to understand how, where & when to use these skills in a natural and fluid way so as to be a skilful and competent practitioner, therapist and nlp life coach.

The Training
Through face-to-face experiential learning, live demonstration, multimedia sessions and most importantly practice, you will develop skilfully and safely as a Clinical Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner/Master Practitioner and NLP Coach.
The training is practical and theoretical with a seamless transition from fundamental principles to advanced techniques. It is not an academic drudge although there is an intellectual capacity required to gain full benefit. There are no official pre-course requirements.
Group size is small maximum 8 ensuring you:
- receive personal attention
- have the opportunity to express your own unique potential
- can clarify your understanding through asking questions
- can develop your practical ability through building your confidence in a safe environment
Assessment is continual throughout the training and is made upon depth of understanding, course work (Learning Portfolio) and above all the ability to demonstrate practical clinical Hypnotherapy/NLP techniques. - The General Hypnotherapy Register
- The Hypnotherapy Association
On successful completion of all three modules you are eligible for membership of these organisations together with The Association of NLP (ANLP) as a Professional Member. The Facts About Professional Registration
In order to register as a practitioner with any of the main professional hypnotherapy bodies in the UK, a course of instruction the bulk of which must comprise of face to face learning, in addition to the set home study assignments, is currently required. Consequently, courses based exclusively or mainly upon online/distance learning do not qualify the graduates of such courses for practitioner status registration within the industries main bodies.
The same is true of registration with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council www.cnhc.org.uk and where only the main professional bodies, termed Verifying Organisations (VOs) within the CNHC, are entitled to confirm the eligibility of practitioners wishing to register with CNHC.
Whereas online/distance learning may form a legitimate part of the home study element of eligible training, it does not count towards the above contact/face to face tuition requirement. Motivation Training supports the ethics and the code of practice of Hypnotherapy and NLP as stated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, The General Hypnotherapy Register, The Hypnotherapy Association, The Complimentary & Natural Healthcare Council and The Association of NLP (ANLP).
After Training
On completion of the full training you will have:-
- a complete Learning Portfolio
- a proven Business Model "Creating your Business"
- strategies for marketing, sales, networking and financial advice to help you develop your entrepreneurial skills in building your own practice/business
- free access to ongoing support/supervision and regular Supervision and Review weekends
Student learning, support and supervision are integral within the training. Support will be given to ensure successful graduation.
Where, when and how to get started
Come and join us on our all inclusive residential training which takes place at our own Training Centre in the Highlands of Scotland. Each residential course consists of 3 Modules and are of approximately 5 days duration with a break of approximately 2 to 4 weeks in between each module for practice, study and revision.
