Continued Professional Development in Hypnotherapy and NLP
The Importance of Hypnotherapy and NLP Continued Professional Development
Continued Professional Development is defined as a range of learning activities through which professionals grow and develop throughout their careers. Hypnotherapists and NLP Practitioners should keep up to date with new developments and techniques within these fields.
CPD can include activities which contribute to learning and which help development as a practitioner. Practitioners are able to choose how and when they complete their CPD and are able to select the activities that will benefit most. A wide range of activities count towards CPD. These include, for example: attendance at workshops and seminars; writing and reading articles; research via internet or by personal participation; receiving supervision and mentoring which enhances learning and development etc.
Memberships to such organisations at the GHR (General Hypnotherapy Association) and the CNHC (Complimentary & Natural Healthcare Council) require that all Hypnotherapists and Practitioners complete a minimum of 25 hours CPD each year and keep an up to date log of all CPD activities.
A fuller explanation of Continued Professional Development will be given to all students at the time of training with Motivation Training.
